Pruning Shears Buying FAQ: MOQ, Samples, Lead Time and Shipping

This FAQ answers the questions garden tool importers and distributors ask Winland most often, in the order they come up: catalog and prices, distribution, lead time and shipping, custom logo, blade materials, minimum order, samples and payment.

How do I get your garden tools catalog and price list?

Send a request through our contact form with your company name and market, and our export team will send the current catalog and an export price list. Tell us which product lines you sell, such as pruning shears, loppers or tree pruners, so we can quote the right models.

Do you work with importers and distributors?

Yes. Winland supplies importers, distributors, garden centers and private label brands worldwide, and has done so since 1993. We support our distributors in each market with catalog files, product photos and samples for their sales teams.

What is the lead time, and how do you ship?

Lead time depends on the model, order quantity and packaging, and we confirm the production schedule with every quotation. Orders ship from Taiwan by full container, LCL or air freight, and we can mix pruning shears, loppers, saws and grass shears in one container.

Can you print my logo on the pruning shears?

Yes. Your logo can be printed or engraved on the blade and printed on the handle, and we can make blister cards, color boxes and try-me packaging in your own design. See our custom garden tools and OEM service page for the full list of options.

What blade materials do you use?

Most Winland pruning shears use SK5 or high carbon steel blades, with non-stick coating, black finish or hard chrome plating. Harvesting shears and floral shears are also available with stainless steel blades, and forged models use a drop forged steel or aluminum body.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ is set per model and per packaging type, and it is lower for models we keep in regular production. Send us the model numbers and your target quantity, and we will confirm the minimum order in the quotation.

Can I get samples before ordering?

Yes. We supply samples of standard models for evaluation, and custom samples with your logo or packaging before mass production. Tell us the model numbers you want to test and the delivery address, and we will confirm sample cost and delivery time.

What are your payment terms?

We confirm payment terms in the quotation, based on the order value and whether it is a first order or a repeat order. Standard export terms such as T/T and L/C are accepted; ask our export team for the option that suits your company.
